ViX recently unveiled details about the development of its new docuseries, "Mundo Regional." The show will be produced by Carlos Cerutti and Martin Halac's Alton River Media and Diego Álvarez' Plataforma production company. The new docuseries will closely follow the most influential figures in regional Mexican music, the icons, and up-and-coming stars that are setting trends in this genre worldwide.
Showcasing the off-stage lifestyle, creative process, and behind-the-scenes careers of the most prominent representatives of the regional Mexican music movement who are making history by taking it to the next level, "Mundo Regional" will portray a never-before-seen aspect of a musical genre that is taking over the global charts, breaking canons and capturing the attention of artists from varied genres and markets.
The title will form part of Vix's slate of content, consisting of more than 75,000 hours of on-demand content and more than 100 streaming channels, all in Spanish. The application has two levels of access, one free and one premium with subscription, and is available in the U.S., Mexico, and most of Spanish-speaking Latin America, accessible on all major mobile platforms, connected TV devices, and on Vix's website.
