The Brazilian audiovisual industry will be represented by Globo at one of the most important international cinema festivals, the Berlin Festival. The new Globo Filmes coproduction, "O Último Azul", directed by Gabriel Mascaro and starring Denise Weinberg and Rodrigo Santoro, is part of the festival's official selection, competing for the prestigious Golden Bear. This marks the first Brazilian film to compete for the Golden Bear in five years.

Set in the Amazon forest in an almost dystopian Brazil, the film tells the moving journey of Tereza, a 77-year-old woman, who seeks to fulfill her last wish before being exiled to a housing colony. The world premiere will take place during the festival, from February 13th to 23rd, with a scheduled release in Brazilian cinemas in 2025.

Additionally, Globoplay will be represented by the new horror series "Reincarnate", selected for screening at the 11th edition of the Berlinale Series Market. The series, starring Taís Araujo, Julia Dalavia, Enrique Diaz, Welket Bungué, and Isabél Zuaa, is one of the 17 productions chosen worldwide for the event. "Reincarnate" is set to premiere on Globoplay in 2025.
