Telemundo Studios presented its 2025 scripted content lineup and upcoming projects during a private dinner at Content Americas, the premier media market catering to the Latin American, Spanish-language, and US Hispanic content communities.
Under the theme “Telemundo Studios Reloaded,” the studio revealed some of its most anticipated upcoming shows. Highlights included the upcoming Super Series "La Jefa", set to premiere on February 18, the contemporary adaptation "Velvet" (WT), and "Dinastía Casillas", a highly anticipated spinoff of the renowned "El Señor de los Cielos", which begins production later this year.
The presentation also introduced the Studio’s latest offerings for streaming platforms, including "Colisión" for MAX, inspired by the work of Corín Tellado, "En el Barro for Netflix", a spinoff of "El Marginal" from Underground Producciones, and "Nails" for SkyShowtime, created by the makers of "Machos Alfa".
The event was led by Luis Fernández, Chairman of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, and Javier Pons Tubio, Executive Vice President of Telemundo Studios. Hosted by Al Rojo Vivo’s Jessica Carillo, the evening also featured a special presentation from Dinastía Casillas star Isabella Castillo (Sed de Venganza).
In attendance were key Latin American industry clients, senior executives from NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, including Ronald Day, President of Entertainment and Chief Content Officer, as well as Pierre Weisbein, Senior Vice President of Sales Liaison for Latin America, and the NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution executive team.
