"Perfect Days"
At MIPCOM 2025 in Cannes, Globo presents a diverse content portfolio that includes series, telenovelas, formats, and documentaries. Among the international releases, standout titles include "Perfect Days", a psychological thriller based on the best-seller by Raphael Montes, and "Blood Red - Under the Moonlight", a production that blends horror, fantasy, and romance. The company also brings both scripted and unscripted formats to the market, as well as telenovelas such as "Anything Goes" and "Queen of Myself".
On October 12, Globo will host a showcase in Cannes, featuring the announcement of new partnerships and the celebration of the group's 100th anniversary, a milestone that in 2025 also includes the 60th anniversary of TV Globo and the 10th anniversary of the Globoplay streaming service.
Adapted by writer Claudia Jouvin and directed by Joana Jabace, "Perfect Days" tells the story of aspiring screenwriter Clarice (Julia Dalavia, from "Pantanal") and medical student Téo (Jaffar Bambirra, from "Crazy About You"). Téo becomes fascinated by Clarice following a chance encounter and, after repeated rejections, decides to kidnap her, believing that over time she will return his feelings. While keeping Clarice away from everyone, Téo takes her on a horrifying journey through the beautiful landscapes of Rio de Janeiro.
In the fictional town of Guarambá, fantastical creatures and intense emotions bring "Blood Red - Under the Moonlight" to life. While Luna (Leticia Vieira from "Anything Goes") bears the burden of transforming into a maned wolf with every full moon, Flora (Alanis Guillen from "Pantanal") is seen as an outcast by her peers for her desire to be and live something extraordinary. For Luna, transformation is a curse; for Flora, the lack of it is a frustration. In addition to being the same age, the two share a sense of not fitting into the world around them, which makes forming relationships especially difficult. The series was created and written by Claudia Sardinha and Rosane Svartman ("Never Give Up"), with artistic direction by Patricia Pedrosa.
The portfolio also includes the telenovelas "Queen of Myself" and "Anything Goes", both currently airing in Brazil. Betting on scripted and unscripted format sales, Globo is bringing telenovelas "All The Flowers" and "She’s The One" to MIPCOM, along with variety shows "The Timeline" and "Spying on Grandma".
Angela Colla, Head of International Business described in detail the agenda for MIPCOM: "MIPCOM is a strategic showcase for us to demonstrate the strength of our productions and expand our partnerships. We're bringing a robust portfolio with original and universal narratives that reaffirm our position as the largest producer of premium Portuguese-language content in the world. This year, we also celebrate the group’s 100th anniversary, a milestone that reflects not just our longevity, but our constant ability to reinvent ourselves. Over this century, we’ve built deep knowledge about Brazil and its nuances, which enables us to turn that understanding into relevant, high-quality content with stories that engage with essential societal themes," noted.
