Kidscreen Awards 2024 is officially open for entries

Programming entries are being accepted for Preschool, Kids and Tweens/Teens for categories including Best New Series and Best in Class.

Kidscreen Summit announces the 15th edition of Kidscreen Awards is officially open for entries. Winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony during Kidscreen Summit 2024 that will tack place on February 4-7 in San Diego.

Programming entries are being accepted for Preschool (0 to 5), Kids (6 to 10) and Tweens/Teens (11 to 15) in the following categories: Best New Series; Best Animated Series; Best Mixed-Media Series; Best Live-Action Series; Best One-Off, Special or TV Movie; Best Holiday or Special Episode; Best Podcast; Best Inclusivity and Best in Class.

The Broadcasting categories will compete on Channel of the Year; Best On-Air Host or Hosting Team and Best Kids-Only Streaming Service.

Lastly, the Digital categories for Preschool (0 to 5) and Kids (6 and up) will include the categories Best Alternative Game; Best Game App—Branded; Best Game App—Original; Best Learning App—Branded; Best Learning App—Original; Best Web/App Series—Branded; Best Web/App Series—Original; Best Website and Best YouTube Channel.

Early-Bird entry fees are in effect, offering savings to companies that complete their entries quickly. For all categories, the entry fee is US$400 until August 11, and US$500 after that date. Additional entry into the “Best in Class” field (Programming only) requires an extra fee of US$100. The deadline is Friday, September 8.
