The thirteenth edition of London Rolling Film Festival will take place on Sunday 13th August in the heart of London at Vue Cinema Piccadilly. Bringing together a group of diverse filmmakers, exploring poignant social issues and diving into the complexities of life, nature, relationships, mental health and disability. The festival requires that filmmakers present their films in person to focus on establishing connections that will allow and encourage them to “Stay Focused and Keep Rolling” with their projects.

This year's exciting line-up of short films includes: "A Dose of Nature" by Chiara Brambilla; "A Mind Full" by Steve Whiteley; "Aborted" by Lee Bamsey; "Playtime" by Jasper Shah; "SONAR" by James Hughes; "Stay Behind" by Federica Schiavello; "The Cocoon" by David Shen Miller; "Speaker" by Alan Hamwan; and "Night Moves" by Jamie Cutler.

Alida Pantone, Festival Director: "This year's film selection is a testament to the power of storytelling. These films touch on the most profound aspects of human existence, taking us on a journey that will linger in our hearts and minds long after the credits roll".

HIGHLIGHT ACTIVITIES
This edition of London Rolling Film Festival features a discussion on Artificial Intelligence led by renowned filmmaker Tom Paton, who recently completed his latest feature, action thriller "Us or Them", starring Malin Akerman and Jack Donnelly. The panel will delve into the opportunities and challenges that AI presents to filmmakers worldwide, from advanced visual effects and CGI to data-driven analytics for audience engagement and content creation.

There is also a great opportunity where anyone can “sell” their next project with a 60-second elevator pitch during “Pitch Corner” with Mike Smith. Giving them the chance to receive helpful feedback from a panel of industry professionals.

The festival is introducing the "Kimberley Marren Recognition Award” sponsored by The Fan Carpet. The award honours the memory of the beloved actress and model, and is given in celebration of unsung industry talents who deserve recognition.
