Kanal D International presented six of its top-rated dramas, including "A Mother's Guilt,” "Hekimoglu,” "New Life," "Ruthless City,” "Price Of Passion,” and "Love Trap” today during the digital Mip Cancun 2020.
“A Mother’s Guilt,” produced by Limon Film, written by Özlem Atasoy & Yeşim Aslan and directed by Filiz Gülmez Parman, is meant to initiate a worldwide discussion about the challenges faced and sacrifices made in parenthood. Kanal D's Medical Drama "Hekimoglu" has released its second season in Turkey. The titles see a team of 3 young doctors and Hekimoglu, who is an acclaimed infectious disease and nephrology physician; does whatever it takes to solve puzzling cases.
"New Life” showcases two very different families' as they meet, while “Ruthless City” sees two families making an indecent deal. It received 4 nominations in 3 categories including "The Best Telenovela in Foreign Language" and was a finalist at Produ Awards 2020.
"Price of Passion," tells the story of couple Birce Akalay as "Aslı" and İbrahim Çelikol as "Ferhat". Kanal D's Rom-Com "Love Trap" is a marriage game between poor girl Ayşe and rich boy Kerem. The game is considered a trap from which they will never be let out.
