Sony Pictures Television International Production in Latin America hosted a screening of "Reputación Dudosa" with director Álvaro Curiel yesterday during the first day of MipCancun. A black comedy produced by Sony Pictures Television (SPT) for Claro video, "Reputación Dudosa" recounts in eight episodes the sudden and inexplicable death of a businessman, as well as the investigation by one of the best police detectives, who also happens to be his lover.
This original series introduces us to Luis Arturo, played by Marcus Ornellas, and the women who are part of his world and have reasons to hate him and wish him dead. His wife (Claudia Álvarez), three lovers (Grettell Valdez, Sara Corrales, Luz Ramos), the mother (Verónica Langer), the detective (Marcela Guirado), and the director of her pharmaceutical laboratory (Itahisa Machado). Also featuring the special participation of Susana Zavaleta as the coroner, this multifaceted and fun cast will show us that we all keep secrets, that best friends can appear in unexpected places, and that you can be "sleeping" with the enemy.
The production received the CINA incentive (Audiovisual Investment Certificate), granted by the Colombian Government and administered by Proimágenes, a tax discount equivalent to 35% of the expenditure on audiovisual services in the country.
