“Life among Lions”
The Spanish-German distributor 3Boxmedia is coming to Mipcom with some very unusual stories. The Spanish series “Life among Lions” (3x50') reveals never-before documented behaviours of wild lions in the Masai Mara with naturalist Jorge Alesanco, who has lived with the kings of the savannah for more than 15 years.
Another highlight of the distributor is “Everest with Three Fingers”, (1x52' or 1x90') which tells the story of a young Italian who conquered Mt.Everest after losing both legs and seven fingers and toes.
3Boxmedia also presents, for the first time at Mipcom, “Methuselah. How to Become a Super-Grandpa”, A very serious documentary-comedy about how to cope with aging.
Other new releases focus on nature, such as “Garajonay. The Ancient Forest of Europe” (1x50' 4K), which reveals an ancient, humid, and unique forest located just four hundred kilometres from the largest desert in the world and “Monfragüe National Park” (1x49' 4K), the world's largest region of Mediterranean forest, which is home to more than 280 species of vertebrates.
