AMC Networks announced several updates to the company’s international content sales team, responsible for driving content licensing and sales efforts around the world, led by Mike Pears, Executive Vice President of Distribution and Content Sales.
Louise Cottrell, a longtime AMC Networks International executive, is taking on a new role as Senior Vice President, International Content Sales, based in London. Reporting to Mark Dee-Shapland, Senior Vice President, Global Content Sales, Cottrell will oversee AMCN’s international content sales operations across Poland, CIS territories, Africa, and the Middle East, driving growth across the company’s content partnerships and commercial relationships in these regions. Cottrell previously served as Senior Vice President, Affiliate Partnerships, AMC Networks International – UK.
Jaewoo Kim, an accomplished sales and acquisitions leader specializing in Asia-Pacific media and entertainment, has joined the company as its Director of Content Sales for the APAC region, based in Los Angeles. Reporting to Dee-Shapland, Kim and her team will represent AMC Networks to potential buyers throughout the APAC region, with Kim responsible for direct sales to Asia. Reporting to Kim will be Sarah Brennan, AMC Networks Sales Manager, responsible for Australia & New Zealand, also based in Los Angeles.
Todd Bartoo, formerly Director of Content Sales Asia, will now be responsible for international licensing for the company’s anime business, Sentai.

At MIPCOM 2025, AMC Networks will highlight the company’s slate of premium scripted and unscripted original series including new series “The Audacity” from Jonathan Glatzer (Succession, Better Call Saul), “Irish Blood”, starring and executive produced by Alicia Silverstone, and “Gold Rush (WT)”, a sports docuseries on the San Francisco 49ers’ iconic teams of the ‘80s and early ‘90s, as well as new seasons of “Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat”, “Dark Winds”, and more.
AMC Networks will also be celebrating 15 Years of “The Walking Dead Universe” with a Grand Auditorium panel conversation on Tuesday, October 14 at 15:30 featuring opening remarks from CEO Kristin Dolan; the stars and executive producers of “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon”, Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride; Chief Content Officer of The Walking Dead Universe Scott M. Gimple; and AMCN President of Entertainment & AMC Studios, Dan McDermott — moderated by award-winning director, actor, comedian, and author Aisha Tyler.
