MIPCOM2020 ANNOUNCES LINE UP OF KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

The speaker include Tyler Perry, Ted Sarandos, Alex Amanacio, and Jeremy Darroch. The media experts will discuss how they are helping shape the global content industry.

MIPCOM announced its line up of keynote speakers for Future Talks at Mipcom Rendezvous Cannes in France and across the globe on Mipcom Online+ this October. This year’s keynote topics relate to the event’s global theme of “Change for Good.” The visionary leaders and creatives will discuss how they are helping shape the global content industry.

 Playwright, Writer, Actor, Producer, Director, and Philanthropist Tyler Perry is among those who will be speaking, along with Co-CEO and Chief Content Officer at Netflix Ted Sarandos, Reflector Entertainment CEO and Co-Founder,  Alex Amancio, and Group Chief Executive at Sky Jeremy Darroch. 

After a virtual keynote interview with World Screen’s group editorial director, Anna Carugati, Perry was honored with the World Screen Trendsetter award in recognition of his contributions to the international television industry. His speech is scheduled for 16.45-17.45 CET, Monday 12 October in Cannes. Sarandos will introduce this Monday Keynote series by receiving the Variety Vanguard Award in recognition of work with the global entertainment business. He will also hold a virtual conversation with Variety’s Business Editor Cynthia Littleton.

Amancio, one of the visionaries behind "Assassin’s Creed," will deliver a keynote addressing the "Emerging Technology: Changing Boundaries Of Creativity To Enhance Engagement/Experience In Media" at 10.45-11.45, Tuesday 13 October at the Grand Auditorium. Darroch will receive the inaugural MIP SDG Award for Climate Change and Protection of the Oceans in recognition of the global impact of the groundbreaking Sky Ocean Rescue initiative at 17.00-17.30, Tuesday 13 October at the Grand Auditorium and later the same day on MIPCOM Online+.
