USA: "Bluey" dominates streaming preschool consumption

Bluey leads U.S. streaming on YouTube and Disney+, surpassing competitors with billions of views.

Australian animated sensation "Bluey" has emerged as the leading preschool title on YouTube in the United States over the past year. According to Digital i's recent research, content from the official "Bluey" YouTube channel was viewed by 24% of U.S. accounts in households with children aged 0-5 between December 1, 2023, and November 30, 2024.

Additionally, "Bluey" content on the Disney Jr. YouTube channel reached 23% of this demographic, suggesting an even broader viewership. On Disney+, "Bluey" achieved 2.8 billion streams in 2024, with "Bluey" and "Bluey Minisodes" collectively amassing 373 million viewing hours between December 1, 2023, and November 30, 2024.

Other notable performers on Disney+ during this period include "Spidey and His Amazing Friends" with 99 million hours viewed, "Puppy Dog Pals" with 59 million hours, and "SuperKitties" with 43 million hours. Mickey Mouse-themed content collectively garnered 239 million viewing hours. Channels such as "Ms Rachel – Toddler Learning Videos," "Super Simple Songs – Kids Songs," and "CoComelon – Nursery Rhymes" each achieved a 22% audience share among the preschool demographic. "CoComelon" and its spin-off, "CoComelon Lane," together accumulated 152 million viewing hours during the same period.
