Beta Film's boutique label Beta Kids & Family is setting sail for Cannes with a virtual showcase ahead of MIPJunior on Thursday, September 26, giving buyers early access to the new line-up. Beta Kids & Family is bringing new series, including the second seasons of "Prisma" (16 x 45') and "Rumors" (60 x 12'), as well as newly acquired programs such as the Hungarian feature film "I Accidentally Wrote a Book" (96') and the docuseries "On Board With Louise" (10 x 15'). Beta Kids & Family handles international sales for all the series in the line-up.

Now, let's briefly explore each of these titles. "I Accidentally Wrote a Book" (96'), based on the internationally acclaimed novel by Annet Huizing, is produced by Juno11 Pictures. This feature film follows Nina, a teenager who dreams of becoming a writer. With the guidance of her novelist neighbor, Nina starts working towards her goal but soon realizes that her life is turning into a novel!

"On Board With Louise" (10 x 15'), produced by Dubourcq Productions for NRK, tells the story of seven-year-old Louise, who lives on a unique ship with her family. The ship is bound for Senegal, with a hospital below deck and her school above. Louise takes viewers on her adventures, from making friends with a child undergoing surgery to playing with lion cubs onshore and much more.

The line-up also includes the sixth season of "All-Round Champion - US Remake" (67 x 60'), produced by marblemedia. This feel-good reality series brings together ten of North America's top young athletes to compete in a variety of sports—but not their own! Instead, they must test their skills, sportsmanship, and ability to improve in unfamiliar sports, with one athlete ultimately being crowned the All-Round Champion.

Also featured is the opening film of this year’s Cinekid Festival, "Benjamin Bat" (76'). This animated musical adventure, produced by Storytellers Film & TV and Zeilt Productions, tells the story of Benjamin, a sensitive bat who is afraid of the dark. The film is co-produced with Avrotros and in collaboration with il Luster. Finally, returning for its second season is "Glow" (8 x 15'), produced by NRK Super. The show captures the turbulent teenage life of Jenny, from experiencing her first crush to accidentally stealing a large sum of money from her stepmother.
