NEM NETWORK TV WRITING CONTEST TO CLOSE IN TWO WEEKS

After the successful first edition that was held last year during NEM Zagreb, NEM has announced that the second edition of NEM Network TV Writing Contest is being held online on the NEM Network, a B2B platform for TV industry professionals, due to the current situation.

Applications for the NEM Network TV Writing Contest are open until the 20th of November 2020 and the projects allowed are: scripted series (drama, thriller, crime, fantasy, SF, comedy) and unscripted format (game show, factual reality, reality, docuseries).

HRT, RTL Hrvatska, Beta Film, HBO Europe, Nova TV, RAI, and Torino Film are just some of the companies providing jury members that will pick the best screenwriters.

Twenty best-rated contestants will be granted the opportunity of meeting with the jury members through NEM Network platform in a private group on the platform available only for jury members and the top 20 contestants where they will be able to communicate directly with the jury members in a pre-arranged time slot which is TBD.

Top six applicants, in addition to the above mentioned, will have the opportunity to pitch their projects on the NEM Network platform plus NEM will award them with two meeting tables at NEM Dubrovnik 2021’s international market where they will have a chance to conduct meetings with potential partners, buyers and/or investors from the industry.

The winner will win a money prize of 3.000 € in addition to all of the above, as well as a guaranteed spot on CineLink Drama workshop and market pitching.  All information and conditions for participating are available on the NEM Network official web pages.
