STARZ revealed its highly anticipated lineup for Comic-Con International 2025, offering fans an immersive experience across its most iconic franchises, including the global phenomenon “Outlander”, its brand-new prequel “Outlander: Blood of My Blood”, and the thrilling return of “Spartacus” with the sequel series “Spartacus: House of Ashur.”
Kicking off the festivities on Friday, July 25 in Hall H, the day begins with a celebratory look back at “Outlander.” In a panel titled “Outlander – A Look Back and a First Glimpse Ahead,” the cast and creators will reunite to honor the beloved time-traveling romance ahead of its eighth and final season. Series lead Sam Heughan will appear alongside co-stars Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin, with executive producers Matthew B. Roberts and Maril Davis offering creative insight into the show's legacy. The panel will be moderated by actress and host Aisha Tyler, and will include exclusive footage teasing the upcoming season.
Immediately following, STARZ will present an exclusive preview of the new prequel series in a panel titled “Outlander: Blood of My Blood – The Next Chapter Begins.” This standalone entry into the franchise explores the untold love stories of Claire and Jamie Fraser’s parents, moving between the battlefields of World War I and the majestic Highlands of 18th-century Scotland. Cast members Hermione Corfield, Jeremy Irvine, Harriet Slater, and Jamie Roy will appear alongside producers Roberts and Davis to discuss the emotional and historical depth of the series. Moderated by TV Guide Magazine’s Kate Hahn, the panel will debut never-before-seen footage ahead of the show’s premiere on Friday, August 8.
The excitement continues on Saturday, July 26, as STARZ heads to the Indigo Ballroom for a bold reimagining of one of its most iconic properties. The new sequel series “Spartacus: House of Ashur” takes the spotlight in a panel that reopens the arena, exploring an alternate fate for the notorious villain Ashur. Imagining a world where Ashur survived Mount Vesuvius and rose to power as the owner of the very gladiator school that once enslaved him, the panel will unpack the brutal new world of Roman politics and betrayal. Original series star Nick E. Tarabay returns in the title role, joined by Graham McTavish, Tenika Davis, Jordi Webber, Jamaica Vaughan, and Jaime Slater, with series creator and executive producer Steven S. DeKnight leading the discussion. The panel will be moderated by Liam McIntyre, the actor who portrayed Spartacus in the original series’ second and third seasons.
Further amplifying its Comic-Con presence, STARZ will serve as the Presenting Sponsor of Entertainment Weekly’s renowned Saturday night party. The event will celebrate all three STARZ original series—“Outlander,” “Outlander: Blood of My Blood” and “Spartacus: House of Ashur”—with a fully branded experience including a STARZ photo booth and a themed “We’re All Adults Here” cabana, offering fans a premium immersive moment.
Adding to the fanfare, STARZ will bring the streets of San Diego to life with a fleet of branded pedicabs, transformed into Roman chariots and driven by blood-splattered gladiators in full costume to promote “Spartacus: House of Ashur.” These mobile activations will offer attendees a chance to experience the world of ancient Rome firsthand, as the network teases one of its boldest series to date.
