"Ah, Amália - Living Experience"
SP Entertainment has launched the first immersive biographical story dedicated to popular Portuguese singer Amália Rodrigues in collaboration with the Amália Rodrigues Foundation. "Ah, Amália - Living Experience" is available in Marvila, Lisbon's new cultural center.
"Amália is more than the Queen of Fado - she is its Soul. She's not just a cultural icon, she's an emotional inspiration. And to get to know her, it's not enough to explain her. Amália is experienced and lived. Absorbing, feeling. She won't always appear the same," said from SP Entertainment.
"It is an experience that only makes sense to us if it's like this: sensory, alive. That it crosses all the senses and emotions - the sound, the visual, the virtual, the immersive and the unexpected. Amália in a way that has never been seen, heard or felt before. And the spectator will be part of this exchange," added the exhibition's directors.
Over 700m2, visitors are invited, guided by the voice of the fado singer, to embark on a unique journey through the artist's material and immaterial estate, scenographic installations, cutting-edge technology, dynamic and interactive content, combined with a storytelling that joins the physical with the digital.
In the eight rooms of this exhibition, using the architecture of the space itself, SP Entertainment has combined different themed environments, where visitors can get to know Amália in her various dimensions - artistic, social, personal and international - with a scenic and visual component of great impact, physical, light, sound and visual installations. With the aim of creating sensory environments and photographable spaces, capable of translating all of Amália's dimensions and greatness into a more impactful format.
