SPORTEL, the world’s only convention for international sports media and technology will be back to Miami for its spring event with a brand-new format. Miami, the home of sport, is undeniably the ideal location to bring together the industry from across the Americas and around the world, within the inspiring setting of the JW Marriott Marquis venue in the heart of the city, from 3rd to 6th March 2020.
“SPORTEL acknowledges the changes that global sports business markets are currently undergoing. My team and I are 100% dedicated to embracing these opportunities to provide our community with a sustainable and profitable future during our next convention” declared Laurent Puons, CEO of SPORTEL.
A high-end one-day conference will be set aside the 3-day deal-making exhibition, and deliver new added value content and networking experiences. "We took the decision to organise the conference before the convention in order to make sure everyone has their schedules clear, and it is not running in the middle of other events when clients are already busy in meetings. This way, it is an opportunity for us to gather our community to attend the conference” added Laurent Puons.
Keynotes and panel sessions will feature influential U.S. and international decision-makers. Oscar De La Hoya, Chairman of Golden Boy Promotions, Eddy Hearn, Group Managing Director of Matchroom Sport and John Skipper, Executive Chairman of DAZN, have already confirmed their participation and will discuss how OTT has revolutionised the way in which boxing is delivered and consumed during a special keynote panel.
