Terranoa, who celebrates this year its 25th Anniversary, is heading to Sunny Side of the Doc 2025 with a line-up of 30 brand-new hours of factual programming, spotlighting high-end documentaries that explore the natural world, scientific frontiers and historical transformations. 

With a strong focus on science and environment including, "Whispers of the Earth" (90’&52’, Arte) which offers a mesmerizing journey into our planet’s mineral origins, and "The Wind, Breath of the Earth" (90’&52’, France Télévisions) which deciphers this invisible and elusive force shaping our ecosystems. Clouds take center stage in the series "Journey into the Clouds" (4x52’), coproduced with Arte and sold to Odisea and FTV Prima.

Terranoa also explores existential questions with "God and Science: The Quest for Answers" (4x45’), a thought-provoking documentary for Canal+, examining the intersection of belief and knowledge. The scientific and environmental adventure "200 Days Alone on a Secret Atoll"  (90’ & 52’, France Télévisions & Ushuaïa tv) takes audiences into an unprecedented solo survival experience in a fragile Pacific ecosystem, while "Father Time" (90’&52’) offers a deep dive into the evolutionary science of fatherhood, a film gathering several international partners (Arte, NHK, SVT, RTS, RTVE, ERR).

On the History front, Terranoa is presenting "How Money Shaped the World" (4x52’ Arte, CCTV), a premium docu-series, which tackles the pivotal role money has played in shaping civilizations and global power dynamics, already confirmed by RTVE, and the international coproduction "Mary, Queen of Scots: Cracking the Code" (90’&52’ GEDEON Programmes for Arte, ZDF, BBC, SVT, SBS, PBS), a gripping historical investigation that unveils newly deciphered letters written by the Scottish queen during her captivity, shedding new light on one of History’s most enigmatic Sovereign.

Expanding its offer in the travel and exploration genre, Terranoa presents "Electric Americas: From Alaska to Patagonia" (10x26’), an epic road-trip through the Americas using only electric vehicles. On higher altitudes, "Run Against Time: The Snowman Race in Bhutan" (52’, NHK, BBS, Gedeon Programmes, Ushuaïa TV) captures the physical challenge of one of the world’s toughest alpine ultra-trails, set against the majestic backdrop of the Himalayas at a time of melting Glaciers.

The wildlife slate includes "Animal Pride" (52’), a vibrant and timely film that explores diversity and non-conforming behaviors in the animal kingdom. Also featured is "Borneo, the Ancestral Forest" (52’, Songes de Moaï for Arte), an immersive journey into one of the oldest rainforests on Earth, highlighting one of the most diverse biodiversity, sold to Rai 5.

Terranoa scored recent sales to Sky New Zealand on "1874, The Birth of Impressionism" and NHK Japan who also acquired History doc "Children of Chaos" and "Decoding animal Culture."
