NATPE Budapest announced that Pavel Stantchev, CEO of TV2 Media Group, will headline as a keynote speaker at this year’s global TV market focused on the CEE and EMEA regions, taking place from June 19 to 22 at the InterContinental Hotel.
With market-leading channels and programming plus a two-year-old streaming platform in its portfolio, the local media conglomerate continues to be a powerful force not only in Hungary’s TV industry, but elsewhere in the CEE region as well. In his keynote, Stantchev will talk about TV2’s next plans for expanding and engaging its audience, and the challenges and opportunities he anticipates navigating as he continues to set and implement winning business strategies for the company.
As previously announced, Georgi R. Chakarov, President and CEO of TVBIZZ Group, is also lined up to give a keynote presentation at NATPE Budapest about market trends in the CEE content industry landscape.
With a legacy of more than 30 years, NATPE Budapest is expected to welcome more than 400 buyers from broadcasters, premium channels, pay TV operators, OTT platforms, mobile services and distribution companies. Major players that have confirmed their return to the market as exhibitors include Banijay Rights, MGM and Red Arrow Studios International, as well as an impressive group of Turkish distributors featuring Kanal D, Global Agency, Mistco, Madd Entertainment, TRT, ATV, and OGM Universe.
