With the disappearance of NATPE Miami and the failed experiment of NATPE Bahamas, this January will be different from previous years for the audiovisual industry, since the first big market of 2023 will be Content Americas, a new project organized by C21 that will take place from January 24 to 26 at the renovated Hilton Miami Downtown hotel.

Content Americas has confirmed over 500 key executives, and the backing of major studios, channels, platforms and distributors for the event. A+E Networks, All3Media, ATV, BBC Studios, Caracol Television, Disney, Globo, The Mediapro Studios, MGM, NBCUniversal, Paramount, Sony Pictures Television, Telemundo, Televisa, TV Azteca, and Warner Bros. Discovery are just a few of the companies participating. To see the full list, click here.

The main focus of Content Americas’ agenda is a series of keynotes and one-on-one interviews with key executives, buyers, commissioners, platforms and financiers about their plans for 2023 and beyond. There will also be a number of panel sessions and sponsored sessions, which will run in the same conference room at the Hilton Miami Downtown.

Some highlighted sessions are: “Content Trends 2023,” about the shows, trends, and genres that have excelled in 2022; “Commissioning Streaming Trends,” about content trends that are going to define 2023; “The Podcast Report,” about the present and future of audio content; “LatAm finds its narrative voice,” about the development of Latin American projects that have international appeal; “New Talent Models,” about new models for finding and nurturing new Spanish language talent; and “FAST Across the Americas,” about how Latin brands are migrating to Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV; among many others.

“We have moved fast to provide a well-organized and creatively programmed alternative to NATPE Bahamas. Content Americas will provide the very best opportunity for the international content business to reconnect in Miami in 2023 and beyond,"  commented David Jenkinson, Editor-In-Chief and Managing Director at C21.
