After the success of the first edition held in Matera, the Audiovisual Producers Summit is back, and it will take place in the Miramare Castle in Trieste, from 19 to 21 July. The Italian event is organised by Cinecittà for the General Direction Cinema and Audiovisual (DGCA) of the Ministry of Culture in association with APA, with the support of MiC, MAECI| Italian Trade Agency, Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region and Promo Turismo FVG and FVG Film Commission. The meet will also see the collaboration of MPA (Motion Picture Association), PGA (Producers Guild of America) - which will favour the participation of several personalities from the North American industry - CNC and Unifrance.

A three-day event full of appointments, strongly desired by the Undersecretary of State to the Ministry of Culture Lucia Borgonzoni, which will host top players from all over the world, confirming itself as a fundamental opportunity for dialogue between national operators, institutions and protagonists of the world audiovisual scene. Like in the first edition, the direction is in the hands of Roberto Stabile, Head of Special Projects of the MiC DGCA at Cinecittà.

Producers, creatives and directors will be at the core of a multi-focus programme of keynotes and panels of the highest level, focusing on a number of themes of pressing topical interest for the audiovisual sector: from an in-depth look at market trends, to determine its orientation and take stock of incentives and services to support production for those filming in Italy, to possible ways of developing and producing TV shows suitable for a global audience. The debate on the use of artificial intelligence will move on to an in-depth look at indie cinema as a possible model for new financing projects.

Trieste will also become a stage for top guests and talent, on the occasion of the prestigious ceremony for the Maximo Awards, an important tribute to the major players in the Italian audiovisual world.
