TV shows from 27 countries were awarded at Venice TV Award

"Landscapers" from Sky Atlantic (UK) won the TV Series category; "Help" from Channel 4 (UK) was chosen as best TV Film and "Minx" from HBO Max (US) as best Comedy.

The winners of the Venice Tv Award were announced. The Gold Medals for excellence went to a spread of 27 different countries, with outstanding work rewarded this year from United Kingdom, Germany, USA, Brazil, India, France, Japan, Sweden, Italy, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Spain, Austria, Australia, Belgium, South Africa, Turkey, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Israel, Argentina, Norway, Mexico and Switzerland.

The TV Series category was for "Landscapers" of Sky Atlantic (UK); while TV FILM was for "Help" of Channel 4 (UK) and Comedy for HBO Max's "Minx" (US).

The documentary award was for "Arsène Wenger: Invicible" of Canal+ (France), Children / Youth category was won by Sky Kids' "COP26: In Your Hands" (UK) and Reality TV was for "Love on the Spectrum U.S." from Netflix (US).

The Performing Arts category was for "Romeo & Juliet" from Sky Arts (UK); as well as Light Entertainment with "Life & Rhymes", and Technology And Innovation award was for "Inaccessible Cities" from Al Jazeera (Qatar).

The News Coverage awarded was for "ITV NEWS: The Storming of the Capitol" from ITV (UK); Cross Plattform Programming was for "Clara Henry – The revenge" from Sveriges Television AB/SVTPlay (Sweden); and Program Promotion category was won for "Onair Gloob" from Gloob (Brazil).

The Sport category was for Kansai Television's "Kiyou’s Kata" (Japan); Soap / Telenovela for "Festa é Festa (Life’s a Party)" from TVI (Portugal); Branded Entertainment for "LEGO Masters USA" from FOX (US) and New Talent for "In Harmony" from University for the Creative Arts (UK).

The Venice Tv Award were supported by the International Music + Media Centre (IMZ), the European Group of Television Advertising (egta) and the Association of Commercial TV (ACT).
