Fanny Herrero
Screenwriter and showrunner Fanny Herrero will receive, during the Unifrance Rendez-Vous in Le Havre, the Deadline TV Disruptor Award, an internationally renowned prize created in 2024 by the prestigious American media outlet to reward the most creative talents in the world of international television.
Unifrance is associated with this award as part of a broader strategy to raise the profile of audiovisual fiction creators on the international stage. Following Noé Debré, recipient in 2024, Fanny Herrero will receive the award on September 3 at the Palais Bénédictine in Fécamp, during the Unifrance Rendez-Vous in Le Havre.
Screenwriter and showrunner Fanny Herrero has been working in television since 2007. She has co-written numerous series, including "Les Bleus" (M6), "Don’t Do This, Don’t Do That" (France 2), "Odysseus" (Arte), "A French Village" (France 3) and "Kaboul Kitchen" (Canal+).
She is the creator of "Standing Up" (Netflix), a dramedy that follows the intertwined lives of four young stand-up comedians in Paris, as well as Call My Agent! (France 2 / Netflix), a cult comedy about the behind-the-scenes world of a Parisian talent agency, which she helmed for three seasons.
An international success, adapted in more than ten countries, "Call My Agent!" has received numerous awards, including the International Emmy Award for Best Comedy in 2021. In 2023, Fanny Herrero also joined the team of writers responsible for designing the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, alongside novelist Leïla Slimani, historian Patrick Boucheron and artistic director Thomas Jolly.
