Nexus TV is a post-production and dubbing company based in Milan that offer various services such as Dubbing; M&E and IMF creation; Subtitling; Foley and sound design; Sountracks; Music supervision and Video post-production. "We are a boutique company, like a family, because it's roughly 15 of us", said Mattia Fioravanti, Client relations manager at Nexus TV to Señal News. "We are a very strong group working together towards the same aim. Bigger companies can take in maybe larger amounts of volumes each month. But possibly, clients might not receive the same dedication that our group has towards achieving the best quality for our customers," added Fioravanti.
Since Nexus TV manages multi-lingual projects, the company would be the perfect partner to localize content in Italian. "We only work with Italian, but it's a conscious choice, because we've had the chance to hear some Italian dubs done outside the country, and we much prefer to only concentrate on what we know we can do best, which is Italian. Otherwise, it'd be a risky business to try Spanish, French or English or other languages", he specified.
Among Nexus TV highlight works are the Italians dubs for "The Crown", season three and four, "Cobra Kai", and "Emily in Paris", season one. "The pandemic has increased our work. We've seen a spike in requests from clients", Fioravanti asserted.
Co-productions plans
Nexus TV is working on a couple of projects that it cannot reveal yet, but Fioravanti anticipated that one of that projects involves co- production. "Actually, we're already co producing an animated series, and we're providing Italian dubs and English dubs and audio sound design for and soundtracks for the show," he said. "We offer a very interesting deal in which we provide our expertise for a deal on what can be distribution or where we want a percentage on the IP,", the Client relations manager at Nexus TV has explained.
