"The Silence of the Earth" makes international debut at MIPCOM. The documentary will feature alongside Banijay Entertainment’s diverse factual line-up for MIPCOM 2024, including the CNN original travelogue series "Eva Longoria: Searching for Spain," the feature-length documentary "Atomic People" for the BBC, and the docu-series "7/7: Three Weeks in July" for the BBC and BBC iPlayer.

The title explores the life of Olympic champion Gervasio Deferr, played by actor Óscar Casas. The series will comprise 5 episodes, each lasting 50 minutes, and is currently in the pre-production phase with casting underway. Filming will be conducted in various locations in Barcelona.

Produced by RTVE, Diagonal TV (Banijay Iberia) and DeAPlaneta, in association with Netflix, the series will be directed by Joan Noguera and written by José Luis Martín.

“Royal Palace. Brilliance and Tragedy of the Spanish Monarchy” follows the trajectory of four generations of the Bourbon family, between 1900 and 2014.

The Spanish fiction director has been appointed as Director of the Endemol Shine Iberia production house, that has been creating and producing television fiction and feature films since 1997.
