Production for the crime thriller, produced by Glassriver for Iceland’s Channel 2, in association with All3Media International, has begun in Iceland.

The eight-part Icelandic drama, produced by acclaimed indie Glassriver in association with All3Media International, was acquired by Viaplay in the U.S and multiple European territories, on Alibi in the UK, and on Disney+ in the Netherlands, among several other deals.

Eccho Rights is teaming up with Icelandic producer Glassriver on upcoming production “As Long As We Live”. At the same time, the distributor licensed new seasons of two of its series to Turkish broadcaster Kanal 7.

The drama is produced by the Portuguese production company SPi and the Icelandic Glassriver, and it's led by public channels RTP and RÚV.

Originally commissioned for Stöð 2, Channel 2, the Icelandic comedy serves as one of three KI titles selected for Series Mania, alongside “Furia” and “Pørni.” Written by Vikingur Kristjansson, it will also form part of Keshet's growing catalog of foreign language content.
