Lisa Holme joins from Warner Bros. Discovery and Hulu on September 8 to oversee Roku Media’s original programming, acquisitions, sports, brand and studio content, as well as emerging verticals and tech innovation.
The whole season will feature a new 10-episode set to debut September 5 on Hulu and pocket.watch’s SVOD Ryan and Friends Plus, followed by Roku Channel, and MLB’s owned-and-operated platforms.
The newly launched “Yahoo Sports Network” delivers over 60 hours of weekly original programming, available across LG Channels, Sling Freestream, and soon on Samsung TV Plus, Amazon Fire TV, Fubo, Plex, Prime Video, and The Roku Channel.
According to Nielsen’s “The Gauge,” streaming captured 47.3% of total TV watch-time in July 2025, with Netflix climbing to a platform record of 8.8%, YouTube reaching 13.4%, and The Roku Channel surging 7.5% month-over-month to 2.8%.
The 3D animated series co-produced by Sinking Ship Entertainment and Scott Brothers Entertainment will exclusively premiere on The Roku Channel in the United States.
