"Too Hot to Handle: Spain" consists of 8 episodes and is produced by Fremantle España. The reality show is directed by Paco Novales, with Mario Briongos, Belén Martín, and Francesco Boserman serving as executive producers.
The new miniseries is based on Elísabet Benavent’s novel, featuring a cast led by Daniel Ibáñez and Itziar Manero. The project is produced with Plano a Plano and co-directed by Marina Pérez and María Togores.
According to Omdia, the country ranks as Netflix's second-largest market worldwide with 20.6 million subscribers, and it is soon expected to become the second-largest international market for FAST.
Produced by GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs, and co-produced with Brightburn Entertainment, the film will stream across Netflix platforms globally beginning on June 19.
The move comes amid declining viewership for CoComelon, which reportedly dropped by nearly 60% in recent years. While CoComelon migrates to Disney+, other Moonbug Entertainment titles such as Blippi and CoComelon Lane will remain on Netflix.
