Noovo has acquired the rights to adapt the reality competition “Survivor” for French Canada. Produced in 48 territories since its launch in 1997, the show is one of the biggest television phenomena of the past 25 years.
Besides the co-production agreement, the company also secured deals with MBC in South Korea and Shenzhen TV in China, as well as TVNZ 2 in New Zealand and Atresmedia in Spain.
Epix has acquired the major new six-part limited series “SAS: Rogue Heroes” from global distributor Banijay Rights. This marks the first international deal for the show produced by Kudos and Nebulastar for Epix and BBC.
Screentime New Zealand, a Banijay company, and Discovery have struck a deal with the support of Banijay Rights, which will see “MasterChef NZ” launch on Discovery’s Three in 2022.
Executively produced by Janet Jackson, Randy Jackson and Kevin MacDonald alongside a group of Lifetime and A+E creatives, the title is set to air in early 2022 on the two large national networks.
