The biennial event will take place on Tuesday 17th September and has secured high-profile speakers including Tim Davie (BBC), Alex Mahon (Channel 4), Carolyn McCall (ITV) and Ted Sarandos (Netflix).
Leading by writer/director Gilles Bannie, the new production level will develop, create and produce high-end scripted programming, starting from "Mind Reader" screen adaptation.
The event was attended by 3537 delegates from 84 countries, including over 1100 buyers, with 135 exhibitors, including major studios and distributors, hosting stands on the show floor and pavilions covering 11 countries.
The executive will assume the role as of April 29 and will be based in London, with the goal to to establish a major foothold for Studiocanal TV business in the UK.
The inaugural MIP London will take place the same week as the 2025 London TV Screenings and is conceived as complementary to the existing annual gathering.
