The distributor announced a pre-sale deal with WDR/Arte, for "China’s Wild Secrets", has licensed a package of world affairs titles to Arte; as well as three seasons of "Digging for Britain" to Hearst Network, among other deals.
The agenda included a slate of must-see studio screenings, featuring major companies such as A+E Global Media, Lionsgate, and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
With an upfront payment of €150 million and up to €377 million in performance-based earnouts, the deal adds 11.5 million subscribers and targets €250 million in annual synergies within three years.
The collaboration introduces an exclusive "Pocoyo" hub inside the Lingokids app, featuring original episodes and educational games designed to support early childhood development for millions of young users.
