The deal includes SVOD rights to the recently launched original SYFY series “The Ark,” Amazon Freevee’s original series “Leverage: Redemption,” and the crime series, “Almost Paradise."
Distributed by Match Point Entertainment, produced by Çağlararts & Insignia and BluTV, action and sci-fi mini-series “Wolf 2039” has been licensed to China, Korea, Taiwan, CIS, and the Baltics.
The platform, which debuted with a slate of all-original content, now has the largest upcoming slate of local VOD originals in the country, ahead of both Netflix and established local rival BluTV, according to Ampere Analysis.
The company acquired the international distribution rights to the Turkish mystic crime series “Aleph,” which delivered a record-high performance on FX and BluTV.
BluTV’s basic offer will include over 100 channels of films, series, sports, lifestyle, culture and news, broadcast in a mix of standard and high definition.
