Electric Entertainment and BluTV have entered an agreement to license five of Electric’s franchised series. “Our programs have cultivated a dedicated fan base worldwide, expanding to new platforms and channels everywhere," Head of Canadian Operations,Nolan Pielak said. "BluTV is the perfect partner for us to bring each of our shows to new audiences in Turkey."
The deal includes SVOD rights to the recently launched original SYFY series “The Ark,” Amazon Freevee’s original series “Leverage: Redemption,” the highly successful episodic crime series, “Almost Paradise,” and the two top rated fantasy adventures, “The Librarians,” and “The Outpost.” The deal was negotiated by Nolan Pielak, SVP, International Distribution for Electric Entertainment and Deniz Şaşmaz Oflaz, CEO, BluTV.
The deal includes seasons one and two of “The Ark,” seasons one and two of “Leverage: Redemption,” season one and two of “Almost Paradise, seasons 1-4 of “The Librarians” and seasons 1-4 of “The Outpost." Also included in the deal are two seasons of the Civil War period series, “Mercy Street.”
