The Oscar-winning Argentinian director will be honored in Miami as submissions open for the third edition of the Rose d’Or Latinos, following a record-breaking 2025 edition with nearly 300 entries from Latin America, Spain, Portugal, and the U.S. Hispanic market.

The Italian director will receive the International Excellence Award, in the 30th edition of the Festival, returning this fall.

For the first time, the fund will be split between four winners, with two recipients receiving €10,000 each and two receiving €5,000 each. The four recipients were announced and honored today at a special event hosted by the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Emma Blain, at the historic Mansion House.
