The US cable and satellite pay TV services are set to face subscription declines in the coming years as their remaining viewers increasingly shift to over-the-top streaming services, GlobalData said in its latest report.
According to GlobalData, Japan's SVoD is expected to increase at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10.1% from $3.5 billion in 2022 to $6 billion in 2027, driven by the strong growth in SVOD subscriptions and unique households.
The pay TV service revenue in Indonesia is set to increase at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4% from US$1.2 billion in 2022 to US$1.5 billion in 2027, forecasts data and analytics company GlobalData.
South Korea’s multiplay service revenue is projected to experience a gradual yet consistent growth throughout the forecast period of 2022 to 2027, according to GlobalData.
