Under the agreement, DIRECTV customers will continue to enjoy TelevisaUnivision’s leading broadcast and cable networks. In addition, DIRECTV is now including TelevisaUnivision’s U.S. properties within its new MiEspañol genre pack.
These rights include free-to-air television, pay television, digital platforms, and non-exclusive radio rights, along with the ability to sublicense media rights within Mexico.
The company CEO, Daniel Alegre, stated that this change is focused on strengthening four key priorities: integration and collaboration, content focus, solutions-based selling, and revitalizing corporate culture.
This marks the fourth educational series from Sabbatical Entertainment acquired by TelevisaUnivision since the company’s inception in 2017, highlighting a robust partnership that has made Sabbatical a leading provider of certified educational content for U.S. Spanish-language audiences.
