As part of the deal, Telia enters a multi-year distribution partnership for TV4 and MTV content. While the company adjusts its 2025 free cash flow outlook to reflect the exclusion of TV & Media, its mid-term financial targets remain unchanged.
Originally created and produced by Tuesday’s Child for ITV1 and ITVX in 2024, the UK version reached 3.1 million viewers and enjoyed 5.9 million streams on ITVX and returns for a second series later this year.
Globally distributed by Banijay Rights, the emotionally-driven series has sold to markets including France, Australia and the US. The news comes as Göteborg Film Festival TV Drama Vision gets under way.
The sales deals for the crime drama were made with the BBC in the UK, which is set to air the fast-paced drama early next month, as well as SBS in Australia, Stan in Australia, Acorn TV in New Zealand, TV4 in Sweden and TV2 in Norway.
