Globally distributed by Banijay Rights, the emotionally-driven series has sold to markets including France, Australia and the US. The news comes as Göteborg Film Festival TV Drama Vision gets under way.
The sales deals for the crime drama were made with the BBC in the UK, which is set to air the fast-paced drama early next month, as well as SBS in Australia, Stan in Australia, Acorn TV in New Zealand, TV4 in Sweden and TV2 in Norway.
Danish TV 2, Norwegian TV 2 and Swedish TV4 have entered a production cooperation. The three TV companies plan to co-produce the next big Scandinavian drama series.
The broadcaster has cited declining viewership and an overall content renewal as the main reasons for putting the shows on hold but emphasized that it is a pause, not a cancellation.
