The title will be produced in Victoria, Australia utilising cutting edge Virtual Production Technology to bring the epic ancient cities and locations of the story to life. Slated to commence production in 2025, casting is yet to be announced.
The series, which combines 3D animation and live action is aimed at audiences of 10 years and upwards and it will be co-written by a new team of writers and directed by Manu Joucla.
Viewers of the popular programme will be able to scan an onscreen QR and walk around the interactive and immersive 3D home to touch, explore and purchase the products they are watching on TV.
The fund will cover the development of five feature films, one television drama, one children’s program and four online projects, including a virtual reality (VR) experience.
