Competition series “LEGO Masters” has been renewed for a second season, it was announced today by Rob Wade, President of Alternative Entertainment & Specials at Fox Entertainment.
The drama produced by 1-2-3 Production and directed by Pyotr Todorovskiy becomes the sole Russian TV series to be shown at the prestigious European Festival in Germany.
Although pay TV and online have traditionally moved in opposite directions as the source for newly discovered favorite shows, today 68% of viewers watch their new favorite shows online, compared to 26% which do so from a traditional pay TV source, according to Hub.
The decision was made just a few days short of the US presidential election. The service will become accessible today in 12 countries, including Costa Rica, Ireland, Norway, Bulgaria, Cyprus, among other European regions.
The half-hour eight-part single-camera comedy Sienna Films will begin production in Toronto, Canada today. Sphere Media Distribution/Abacus Media Rights has acquired worldwide distribution rights to the show.
