RUSSIAN SERIES "SIX EMPTY SEATS" TO BE PART OF THE SERIENCAMP FESTIVAL

The Russian TV series "Six Empty Seats", produced by 1-2-3 Production and producers Valeriy Fedorovich and Evgeniy Nikishov, is included in the program of the international Seriencamp Festival, the first and largest festival of TV serial programs in Germany. "Six Empty" Seats was included in the Best around the world program and became the only project from Russia among the 50 TV serials presented in Munich.

This gripping drama, directed by Pyotr Todorovskiy starring Nikita Efremov, Oksana Akinshina, Pavel Tabakov, Mikhail Efremov, Yuliya Khlynina, and Evgenia Dobrovolskaya, tells the story of employees of a construction company who narrowly escape death and decide to radically change - and challenge everything that, before, prevented them from feeling alive.

The Todorovskiy’s creation began to conquer the world starting in Eastern Europe: in September, "Six Empty Seats" won The Best TV Series prize awarded at the Serial Killer Festival in the Czech Republic. Now it has gone west: in November, following Germany, the drama will be shown in the UK as part of the largest international content conference, Content London, which annually shapes the main serial trends of our time. In Russia, "Six Empty Seats" will premiere on the TNT Broadcasting Network and the PREMIER.One OTT service.

Six colleagues from a small real-estate firm accidentally miss their mutual flight thus miraculously avoiding the plane crash. The eluded disaster triggers the insight that none of them had a chance to live their dream. With doubts set aside, the group agrees to commit the theft. With nothing but bags full of cash, ex-clerks go on the run in pursuit of the most cherished desires and ambitions. Unfortunately, they chose to rob the wrong guy and they already became the prey. And on top of all that — there is a rat among them.

The series has a unique structure with each episode introducing one of the survivors’ background and features an unprecedented, star-studded Russian cast with award-winning actors from the leading roles to the smallest cameos, thus delivering an electrifying performance.
