Production for the new Jimmy Fallon and NBC’s all-star music competition series adaptation, set to be produced by TF1 Productions in collaboration with the format's original creator, Universal Television Alternative Studio, is scheduled to begin next year.
The veteran children’s TV creator is scheduled to contribute to the production of the original preschool series, inspired by his daughter, beginning this Fall.
The deal will grant the service, offering prominent titles such as "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," "Below Deck," "Million Dollar Listing" and "The Real Housewives," to viewers in the region as part of a Fall subscription.
The 2D animated show, created by Jennifer Hamburg, is set to debut during Fall season of 2022. It will be targeted at children between the ages of 3 and 6.
IPTV will add 63 million subscribers between 2021 and 2026 to total 398 million, while cable, on the other hand, will see subscriber numbers fall from 417 million in 2021 to 389 million in 2026, according to Digital TV Research.
