Viaplay launches on Roku in the US, Canada and the UK; and partners with Deutsche Telekom’s MagentaTV

In Germany, viewers can now access over 300 hours of Viaplay’s most acclaimed series, films and documentaries through MagentaTV, together with curated third-party titles, and in the US and Canada, Viaplay subscribers can view over 1,500 hours of acclaimed series and films. The platform is available as a direct-to-consumer app in 13 countries.

MIPTV 2023: Studiocanal secures sales for "The Crash" and "1985"

The title, "The Crash," has been acquired by SBS Australia, CANAL+ France, Disney+ Belgium, BeTv Belgium, MagentaTV / Telekom Germany, Free TV Israel, Cellcom Israel, RTP Portugal and Cosmo Spain, while "1985" is commissioned by two Belgian public broadcasters, VRT and RTBF, is produced by leading Belgian producer Eyeworks.

CANAL+ Action launches on select satellite and Internet TV services in Czech Republic and Slovakia
