The Channel 4 series, now into its second season, has been sold to DR (Denmark), AVROTROS/NPO (Netherlands), SVT (Sweden), Britbox (Australia), BBC UKTV (New Zealand), and SBS (Australia) for a second window in Australia for their daytime schedule.
They will discuss their pioneering partnership on international co-productions, such as "The Pillars of the Earth" (Starz/Channel 4), "The Company" (TNT), and "Labyrinth" (Channel 4), through to their current collaboration with writer Michael Hirst ("Vikings") for the Amazon MGM Studios limited series, "Pompeii: A Day of Fire."
Channel 4’s Chief Operating Officer, Jonathan Allan, will serve as interim CEO while the Board undertakes a comprehensive recruitment process over the coming months to ensure continued outstanding leadership into its future.
The film aired last week on the UK’s Channel 4 as part of its investigative current affairs strand 'Dispatches,' receiving exceptional critical acclaim.
