The Long and Short Form Competition Awards of the season 04 of Canneseries, which took place from October 8 to 13, has just been revealed during the closing ceremony.

Although the selection will not be announced before the beginning of the fall 2021, a veil is lifted on one of the shows out of competition: “Around the World in 80 Days,” a new adaptation of the famous novel by Jules Verne.

Canneseries will take off on October 9 with a simultaneous physical and digital edition to allow for a maximum of participation in accordance with international Covid-19 restrictions.

The French series described by the New York Times as “the smartest and most authentic spy series (…) in the world” returns for a fifth season. The first episode will premiere on closing night of CANNESERIES on Wednesday, April 1st, 2020.
