The Long and Short Form Competition Awards of the season 04 of Canneseries, which took place from October 8 to 13, has just been revealed during the closing ceremony. Finnish production “Mister 8” was recognized as “Best Series,” and a member of its cast, Finnish actor Pekka Strang, received the award for “Best Performance”.
Meanwhile, the Norwegian show “About Saturday” won in the “Best Short Form Series” category. The “Dior Grand Prize” was given to German production “The Allegation,” while the “Special Interpretation Prize” was given to another Norwegian show, the 8x45’ series “Countrymen”.
Young actor Malik Gervais-Aubourg won in the “Dior Revelation Prize” for his role in the Canadian series “Je voudrais qu'on m'efface”. Furthermore, Ferdinand von Schirach was recognized as “Best Screenplay” for his work at “The Allegation,” while Giorgio Giampà received the “Best Music” award for Italian series “Christian”.
Lastly, “Countrymen” won the “High School Prize for Best Series”; the Belgian title “Lockdown” won the “Student Prize for Best Short Form Series”; and Serbian production “Awake” won the “Audience Award for the Best Series in Competition”.
