Household penetration for SVOD in Denmark now stands at 66%, which is higher than in any other Nordic country, and growth year-over-year amounts to 8%, according to Mediavision.
There are approximately 17 million SVOD subscriptions on the Nordic market, distributed over slightly more than seven million households. If today’s customers were to decide, a little more than four million would be converted into cheaper subscriptions with advertisements.

Despite this data, the pay-TV segment will grow by 4.4 % and OTT TV will continue on the path of strong growth, going from 11.6 million households in 2022 to 13.8 million in 2024.
