Independent distributor All3Media International has signed a brand-new format deal for ratings winner “The Dog House,” as ZDF commissioned a local adaptation for Germany.

The two-part drama garnered 2.8 million views upon launching on Italy’s RAI 1, and will soon air on upcoming streamer, Globi in North America and to various broadcasters in the North American region.

The documentary “Magellan’s Voyage - Search for the Spice Islands,” which commemorates the first circumnavigation of the globe, has been licensed by ZDF Enterprises to New York public broadcaster WNET.

ZDF Enterprises and its wholly owned subsidiary, Off the Fence, have closed a major volume deal with UKTV, one of Britain’s largest commercial broadcasters, for two of its specialist factual channels, Eden and Yesterday.

The film, based on the legend of a 3,000-year-old horse, was produced by Gruppe 5 and GA&A Productions for ZDF, in collaboration with ARTE and ZDF.
