The streamer surpassed Wall Street's expectations and added nearly 16 million paid global subscribers in the first quarter of this year, beating its record of 9.6 million, set during the same quarter a year ago.
The company did not break out how many are from the United States and how many are from the international territories where it’s been made available, but it said the “vast majority” came from domestic.
