Pluto TV and BBC Studios announced the further roll-out of the “Top Gear” FAST channel in the EMEA region, while the dedicated The Jamie Oliver Channel will be available to US audiences thanks to a new deal between the platform and Fremantle.

Forty percent of US adults that watch free TV streaming (FTS) services such as YouTube, Pluto TV, and Freevee reported an increase in time spent viewing the services compared with last year, according to Aluma Insights.

The deal spans more than 25 territories across Europe and Latin America, including the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

The move reflects the broadcaster's debut in the FAST market with further plans to build on the offer with FAST channels to launch on its free streaming service UKTV Play at a later date.
