The planned Warner Bros Discovery merged company is set to be near the top of the industry when it comes to corporate demand share, according to new data from Parrot Analytics.
Just seven months after the debut of its SVOD platform Discovery+, Discovery Inc. has reached 18 million total paid streaming subscribers, the company revealed in its second quarter earnings report on Tuesday.
Under her new role, Lee will oversee the brand’s business operations in Korea, as well as Discovery in Japan. The recruitment follows the company’s effort to restructure its leadership team in the region ahead of its merger with Warner.
The potential bid process is being managed by UK Government Investments, The Telegraph reported, adding that the deal would be expected to close in the middle of 2022.
